A big “thank you” to Grace and Monica who led the coordination of volunteers for our public tours during the Chicago Architecture Center’s weekend long event, Open House Chicago!
Every October, the Chicago Architecture Center hosts a free, two-day public festival that offers behind-the-scenes access to 250+ architecturally, historically and culturally significant sites across the city. Featured sites include historic mansions, private clubs, sacred spaces, hotels, offices, theaters and so much more.
Holy Trinity Cathedral received over one thousand visitors over the two days, Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20. This was a wonderful opportunity to share our part of Chicago history.
Thank you to all of the individuals who helped welcome our visitors and answered questions about the cathedral and its history.
